Kevin Hursh has been an agricultural journalist and broadcaster in Saskatchewan for nearly 30 years. He produces a daily commentary for a number of Saskatchewan radio stations, writes a weekly column for about twenty newspapers, and serves as editor for a bi-monthly magazine called AgriSuccess Journal, published by Farm Credit Canada. As a Consulting Agrologist specializing in communications, Hursh also works on communication strategies for various organizations. Each year, he speaks to scores of agricultural conferences and conventions. Kevin and his wife Marlene run Hursh Consulting & Communications from a home-based office in Saskatoon. They provide management services to Crop Production Week and to the Saskatchewan Outstanding Young Farmers program. Kevin also serves as executive director of the Saskatchewan Mustard Development Commission and the Canaryseed Development Commission of Saskatchewan. As well, Kevin and Marlene own and operate a grain farm near Cabri in southwestern Saskatchewan growing a wide array of crops. |
